Magic Home Photos is not a standalone AI experiment. It is a tool that grew out of the everyday work of presenting, renting and marketing homes.
Magic Home Photos is part of i-Rent.net, a software company founded in 2008 by holiday rental professionals in Jávea on the Costa Blanca in Spain.
Everything we build starts with the same question: what do people who rent out and sell homes actually need in order to present a property well?

Magic Home Photos is a product of i-Rent.net. i-Rent.net develops software for professional holiday rental companies and property managers: property management, channel distribution, direct bookings and websites.
That means the people behind Magic Home Photos are not only software developers. They are people who work with holiday homes, rental properties and property presentation every single day.
We live and work on the Costa Blanca and i-Rent.net is still run by people who know the rental sector inside out. That daily practical experience forms the basis of everything we build, including Magic Home Photos.

Experience
Years of experience in property and holiday rental
i-Rent.net was founded in 2008 in Jávea on the Costa Blanca in Spain. The founders were experienced holiday rental managers themselves and were frustrated by the fragmented tools available at the time. They wanted one solution that handled everything, so they built it themselves.
Today i-Rent.net serves rental companies throughout Europe and beyond, and many customers have been with us for more than ten years. Along the way we have built up experience in exactly the areas that matter for good property photos: rental practice, property marketing, websites and booking platforms, and software development.

A few milestones from that journey:
- 2008 — Founded in Jávea, Costa Blanca, Spain, by holiday rental professionals.
- 2010 — Launch of the channel manager with Booking.com integration.
- 2012 — Customers in more than 10 countries and 5,000 holiday homes.
- 2015 — Became a Booking.com Premier Connectivity Partner.
- 2018 — Introduction of a WYSIWYG website builder for simple, intuitive page creation.
- 2020 — 20,000 holiday homes reached, mainly with online booking capabilities.
- 2023 — More than 50 channel integrations combined, active in several European countries.
- 2024 — Launch of three mobile apps: Owners App, Property Manager App and Maintenance Staff App.
- 2025 — Full AI integration for intelligent response generation and consistent property descriptions.
- 2026 — Launch of the Rental Enterprise module for companies with several office locations.
Origin
From a daily problem to Magic Home Photos
Working with holiday homes and rental properties every day, we kept running into the same thing: the photos.
A property is often photographed quickly. The light is not right, the room looks dark, the colours are dull, the exterior was shot on a grey day. The home itself is fine, but the photo does not show it.
Fixing that used to mean manual editing, expensive external post-production or a new photo shoot. All of it costs time and money, and with dozens or hundreds of properties it simply does not scale.
Magic Home Photos was developed to solve exactly that problem: work that normally takes a lot of time, manual editing or external post-production, done faster and more simply.

Technology
Technology developed for property practice
Magic Home Photos is not a general AI photo editor. The system is built specifically for property photos and is aimed at how homes are presented.
The system analyses the photo and takes the type of room, the furniture, the architecture, perspective, light and colour into account. That is why the result stays recognisable as the property itself, instead of turning into a picture that has nothing to do with the home.
In practice that means two things:
- Straightforward improvements: light, brightness, sharpness, colour, atmosphere and overall presentation, applied automatically.
- More extensive changes and visualisations: showing what a home could look like after cleaning up, restyling or renovating.
You always stay in control. Upload a photo and the system improves it automatically. Want something specific? Add your own instruction to that photo.
